Hi trans-

<..The timing of the deal relative to the April LMDS re-auction is of interest as sometime soon entries into re-auction is required and then
or soon thereafter anti-collusion rules would have taken hold...>

Could you elaborate on this? If it's determined that WNP and NXLK agreed BEFORE the last auction to not bid in the same markets, this wouldn't have a bearing on the auction and would not be considered collusion?

<..So as prior posts have indicated the extra pay to the FCC probably takes care of this merger..>

Seems to me if they were competitively bidding, they would have raised more $$. Since as you note, much of the auction is strategy, if WNP was really just a McCaw puppet, wouldn't this have materially effected the outcome - both in $$$ and competitive strategy? And if this is legal, could WCII and others bid through several seemingly different entities, only to post-auction join forces?

<..and today's deal may cause some of the runt remnant markets to attract new bids from new entries...>

So in your opinion, this makes it more interesting/appealing for other potential bidders in the next auction?
