Text from the presentation to security analysts on Dec 1st 1998. looks great to me... I am looking for new high on this one as well: .................. Our progress on inventory drove another very good outcome on cash generation. Net cash increased by $1.3 billion for the year. Part of this increase was in the second half, which is noteworthy in light of our aggressive stock buyback. In the last two quarters, we bought back 31 million shares for a total of $1.6 billion. .................... On share buyback, we have remaining authorizations of $1.2 billion and $750 million for our two programs. Our stock repurchases are affected by many variables, but at this point we are planning to stay aggressive in repurchasing shares. ....................... Let me know what do you think....
