HI Barry: Yep It caught me by surprise, but I had my hedge in,
on feb puts since monday..
like I got 32.5 calls monday at 3.25, just so I could hang onto my
puts..which at that time I was temted to sell, as they were 7
but any way. today about an hour ago I checked them both out
puts = 4.75
calls = 5.625
total= 10.375
sub - (3.25)
bal= 7.125 so I'm holding my own with feb, if the combo goes
below 10..I'll close out both. Still into april and they lost
value big time today and I had no hedge, but april is a way off, and when this latest news sinks home that AOL is going to try to give free time credits to thoes people who can't get on anyway, and call that a refund, it'll be a bigger stink than it was before..<G>
BUT yes the up swing was sharp, ( on news ) and it did surprise me,
but them that buy on news will pay dearly for it, you got to get
beyound the razzel dazzel, she simply can't get it down the road
on a 19.95 flat rate, and is going to get eat up.
Jim
