Questions, out of curiosity:

1. Who says that DMT outperforms CAP or vice versa?
2. For what applications?
3. What bandwidths do those applications need?
4. When will products be available to meet those bandwidths?

I guess my point is that if you have a Ferrari (I don't) and a Ford Explorer, both a great for different things, but if you need to go to the store a block away to get a magazine, both will probably be fine. So it becomes other issues like gas mileage, purchase cost, maintenance cost, etc. that become more important. The overarching question, I believe, for DMT people is "Are the advantages of DMT such that they will make a difference to someone deploying the technology?" The same is true for CAP. An advantage is only good if it is exploitable. I have seen lots of posts here that focus on pure bandwidth. What are the limitations of your PC to handle a 6Meg stream? Can you screen refresh that fast for Internet access? Would you notice the difference between this screen downloading at 6meg versus 1.5 meg? It's all relative in the end.-db
