I guess we are going to disagree on this at this point. I do feel i know what i am talking about. Traditional TA has no room at all for fundamental analysis. End of story. I have never heard of anyone suggesting pure technical analysis is anything other than pure technical analysis. fundamental analysis is different altogether. It appears to me that a lot of new research models are trying to integrate the 2 and giving it new names. This is really nothing new except the names attached to them. Investors have been combining the to art forms for decades. regarding the number of s&p sectors.....shoot me for being off by a few. I don't profess to be a TA expert such as you do, I am an investor and not a trader. But I do consider myself to be a market expert, although it doesn't preclude me from being wrong.
