Thanks for your posting. A general question: will we benefit from
the new SEC rules? Peter said yes. But from what i read in the WSJ,
SOES system will not. My recent experience seemed confirmed this.

Well, fast execution is what drawed me to Datek. I don't care too much
about the savings in commission fees compared to other on-line brokers.
If Datek cannot do fast execution, i am going to reconsider
my decision.

By the way, everybody should carefully check to make sure Datek does not chage you
$9.99 if the time between enter time and exec time is longer than
1 min. My friend had one order charged $9.99 even the time is longer
than 1 min. I reminded him the promise from Datek and it took him three
phone calls to correct the problem. I think the customer services at
Datek have lot to improve.

I expect Peter or someone else from Datek can shed some light on this
discussion.
