Allen, I like the sound of this article from your NREL govnmt'l article making reference to ECD's impending 100 MW plant. It has a very sweet ring to it. It is simply a matter of time before this comes about due to the continued advancement of our solar technology.

I fully anticipate an announcement of our proceeding with a 25 MW
plant minimally, followed up with a 100 MW plant. There is simply no way for the fossil fuel plants to continue to provide the growing energy needs for the world without continuing to spew out an excessive
amount of emissions. On the other hand, our 109 nuclear power plants are falling by the wayside. What choice does the world really have? Windpower? Give me a break! The obvious answer is our improved thin
film triple junction solar technology, along with our "advanced" NiMH
storage batteries.

I can't conceive of our getting through this year without an announcement of a new plant. In fact, I fully expect the federal government to fund half of the cost of our new plant. Period!
Will someone out there shoot holes in my prediction?

What other choices are out there?

Regards.
