I have used IQC realtime for 2 months now. For the money, you
can't beat it. One disadvantage is that they do not offer tic by tic bid/ask. Data is updated every minute, or, you can lay on the get quote button like at a online broker.

IQ chart allows one to screen for candlestick patterns,
price, volume, and other technical indicators.

It allows you to view intra- and inter- day data in many time frames
(as opposed to DBC Stockedge, which only gives you 1 day of
intra day data). Plus it has trendlines (Wow. Kind of basic.
But you can't draw trendlines with Qcharts, which otherwise is very
good). It does have all the inherent disadvantages of Java, however.

What is amazing to me is that these other services cost 5-10 times more
but leave out certain basic charting features that IQC has, which was obviously developed by a chartist. IQC does
have all of the disadvantages of a java program, and this is its
inherent limitation.
