Stay away from their special deal memory

DIMMs have been a blessing in disguise. Back when you had to buy SIMMs in pairs, I'll be damned if they didn't try to hand you two TOTALLY different boards -- I mean manufactured in different months, different brands, different chips. You had to ask them for matching pairs. Who knows how many people took them home and had all sorts of strange timing problems -- unpredictable lockups every week or so...

But it's hard to beat the price!
