Your comment about RMBS possibly not knowing about Samsung's announcement is an interesting point. There is really no reason why RMBS should know the production details of the various DRAM vendors. This is information that the vendors would want to keep from each other and might not divulge to anyone. While RMBS will certainly be heavily involved in getting the prototype and production parts working properly, they may not have much visibility of the production rampup and may not know what their royalties will be until they receive the check.

If anyone outside the vendors knows about the rampup, it is more likely Intel because that will affect the timing of the release of Camino.
