AKLM- Sales of Turok II and South Park will make AKLM's Q2. Also AKLM was also #1 on NASDAQ's list of largest change in short position for Mid-December (3.8 to 6.7 million shares). Money loves to short these video game stocks that have hits, because it sets the stock up for a fall in the future (raises the growth bar that has to be beat). Trippi has seen THQI report a great quarter and then sell off as short position increases. Notice the balance sheet for AKLM in the Jan.14th filing; no stockholder equity, but rather stockholder deficiency (it did reduce from 21.7 to 5.4 million). Fishbach CEO of AKLM is conservative about growth in 99 because he doesn't want to give shorts a mountain to climb on. I believe delaying release of ShadowMan to Q1 2000 even though it cold be ready in June is a bullish sign that AKLM feels good about other Q3 and Q4 releases like WWF Attitude (playstation and N64), AllStar Baseball 2000 (PC, Gameboy, & N64), RE-Volt (PC, Playstation, & N64), and other games, Video game stocks are not ones to fall in love with or bet the farm on, but they are tradable and profitable. I sold before earnings were announced #reply-7211260. I have learned the trend in these stocks can see the gates go down, the lights are flashing, but the train never shows up. I plan on attending Doug's seminar in Orlando to improve my trend analysis. Thanks to all on this thread who share their analysis. Andrew
