I'm anything but an expert on PC markets, but I use them all the time. Not long ago my 8 year old son wanted to use my nice new 400 Mhz Pentium II to blow up spaceships. I used his Celeron 266, and did the things I normally do. I couldn't tell the difference. Whatever speed advantage existed was minimal, at least using the applications I normally use.

I wonder how many other people are making the same discovery?
