Ira, I hope you are right. I don't think SNE can correct HiFUD's head wobbling woes and get the product back on the market in 1 month. Usually after a bug arises in a product and it's fixed, it must to be Beta tested. Perhaps they could get the HiFUD to market in a year. By then IOM will own the majority of the market and will be ready to release the next generation products.
Another consideration for the future is Clik. In the next 6 months it will be interesting to see which OEMs adopt it. I hope many do. I don't think IBM's minidrive is a Clik competitor. It's too expensive and I think it targets a different market. Gottfried could probably tell you more. SR
