I think it is spelled "site" as in location rather than the visual sense.

I wasn't suggesting that the number of existing shares issued was incorrect although some of the people on the FAMH thread may not be so quick to accept company numbers on that parameter.

What I was suggesting is that there may already be activities in place which will change the number of shares issued in the near future. There is a concept call "fully diluted" which applies i.e. you try to figure out how many shares there will be in the future and do not rely simply on the number of shares which are outstanding today.

I didn't suggest what the real number of future shares (e.g. 1/1/2000) might be. So it isn't a question of my estimate versus the company's. I also think if you asked the company they would also tell you that the future number of shares issued will be very much larger than it is today.

If you want to use 8,000,000 shares as the number of shares to be considered when making estimates of future earnings per share, go right ahead. I think doing so will cause you to make very incorrect estimates but hey, why not.
