JMAC - Re:"...if we knew someone was advising hedging INTC by buying IBM puts BEFORE it cratered..." To set the record straight, Jules disclosed to me his intent to buy IBM puts BEFORE IBM tanked. This was at least one day before IBM posted its Q4/96 earnings report. This "call" by Jules represents one of the best predictions of a stock's (any stock) short term reaction that I have seen in quite a long time. It was especially gutsy since the company was IBM.
