I agree certain things are not location based, but many items are, such as cars, boats, haircuts, jewellelry, furniture, shoes, certain clothing items etc. People want to see a lot of things before they buy, but they can source the best deal online. Bars, theatre, entertainment, all that stuff is locally based and can be sourced in detail online. Every company you talk to is online or going online, big or small, local or international. It would seem all these businesses will want to be seen online in the future if that is where the shoppers are.
