While I join you in hoping for HNV to react positively to the news about EXCITE and @HOME, it is not clear to me the real worth of the fulfillment part of the deal HNV has with EXCITE.

According to the news release...

In addition, Excite has selected Keystone Fulfillment Inc., an affiliate of Hanover Direct, as the third party fulfillment services
vendor which it will exclusively promote....

Additionally, through Keystone Fulfillment, Excite can now offer proven, reliable fulfillment services to additional catalogers and retailers who want to harness the power of online retailing which will also further broaden the range of offering to the consumer," added Kaul.

I think we need to hear more about the terms of this part of the deal. For instance, it could be interpreted that Keystone would be offered if a retailer is looking for third party fulfillment and many of the EXCITE retailers may do their own fulfillment or have others do their fulfillment already. I do like the word exclusively, but it is to exclusively promote, not use.

I still think it is good for HNV, but maybe not as HUGE as you think.

Does anyone understand the Keystone agreement in more detail?

Thanks.

Judith
