Trev & GT & Rick,
An empirical aspect of primary diamond deposits with respect to stone size distributions is that the frequency of large diamonds diminishes exponentially with increasing size. Given the reported stone sizes in the NR, IMO, this should tell us threadsters (and NR writers for that matter) that the grade in terms carats/tonne are going to be sharply higher on the six thousand tonne bulk. Value expressed as$US/tonne could increase as well. Rick, regarding your contest to guess the largest stone recovered from the 6000 tonne bulk sample, I want to change my guess from 30 carats to a 110 carat stone.
Comments from any mathmaticians or engineers welcome.
Do I hear $20 bid no offers on the way to much higher prices???
regards,
teevee
