I finally have my system up and running, except that I can't seem to get the CDROM recognized

Congratulations!

Sorry I can't help much with the CDROM. Do you have the bios set to boot CDROM first? Did you put the NT disc into the drive before you turned on the machine? If you have another machine..did you try booting to the CD to verify it is a boot CD?

Did you go into the bios and autodetect the harddrives (IDE controller) and then save and exit the bios after the CDROM was detected?
