I'm not a technician. I'm assuming that the cable companies
will be taking on all or at least a piece of the modem's cost
when they offer these to their subscribers. The other thing they
could do is rent the modem to their client, again this would
entail huge capital expenditures in the short term. Of course
I could be wrong about this. Can anyone shed some light on this?
