John, On the balancer side the list is quite long: Allied signal Aerospace Alumax Mill Products American Axle American Koyo Bearing Mfg Amada Engineering Barden Corp Black & Decker Corp Boeing Briggs & Stratton Caterpillar Chrysler Cummins Engine Damler Benz Daewoo International Dana Deere & Co Etc, Etc, Etc, etc down to Westinghouse. If you look back over previous post about laser you should find some of the clients of which I mentioned 3 in a previous post. Also, there was news on Dow Jones from Veeco today that talked about the Dektak7 TMS-2000. Veeco said the Dektak TMS-2000 was ordered by segate (seg) and delivered to its disk substrate manufacturing facilities in Mexicali, Mexico and Hayward, Cal. The systems are manufactured by Schmitt Measurement systems, of Portland, Ore., and distributed by veeco's surface metrology division under a exclusive oem and sxtrategic partnership agreement. They will be used to measure surface microroughness. If anyone can find a URL and post it here it would be appreciated because I am not going to type the whole thing. Regards Steve
