Its patent-pending "fits anywhere" design includes the industry's first V.90-alert LED, which lights when a V.90 connection is established. The company also announced the Compaq 56K PCI Fax Modem, furthering its commitment to standard-based communications solutions. Both products are available this month worldwide.
The Compaq 56K USB Fax Modem provides flexibility for increasing desktop space. It fits between the PC and keyboard, or can be attached to a wall or hung from the monitor. Both new modems are fully tested for performance, reliability, and compatibility with PC platforms, as part of Compaq's family of V.90 communications solutions.
