Hi LeRoy,
Here is a quick note from Radman. I have also included a relevant article from the Fianancial Post. Radman brought NCM through just recently...great timing!

NCM.V
there was significant news on new claymore today .as previously discussed new claymore has basically two large properties ,one in the region of 1 million acres in the hinton alberta area which kennecot is drilling for diamonds as we speak and a newly staked area in the peace river area of alberta which has shown very high indicator minerals for diamonds. ashton is drilling on an adjacent property and announced today that they have hit kimberlite.this is very significant for ncs .it traded to a new high today and was around 2.20$.there are only 4.7million shares fully diluted out there and this is a very significant finding with more good news expected as the results from kennecot become available.,the market cap of new claymore is one of the lowest of any of the diamond exploration companies which have a significant chance of a major diamond discovery . with any luck this one should go much higher over the next three months.

Post's Schreiner keen on Alberta diamonds
New Claymore Resources Ltd NCS Shares issued 4015775 1997-01-24 close $1.85 Monday Jan 27 1997 In the News
See Montello Resources Ltd (MEO) In the News The Financial Post says in its Saturday edition that last week's disclosure of of a drilling start by Ashton Mining of Canada is a signal that the Alberta diamond play of 1997 is underway. Reporter John Schreiner says that another signal lies in the awakening of activity in the shares of junior firms involved in the search for diamonds, both in the Hinton area, previously better known for its coal reserves, and in an area northeast of Peace River. Ashton moved to higher than $1 early this month and has traded significant volume. Also increasingly active are Pure Gold Resources, Troymin Resources, Montello Resources and New Claymore Resources. The Hinton area has been simmering for a while. The Montello group acquired 950,000 acres there in April 1994 on the advice of Chuck Fipke, chairman of Dia Met Minerals and the original discoverer of diamonds in the Northwest Territories. Mr Fipke's company was briefly active in Alberta diamond exploration a few years ago with Cameco Corp, but is no longer involved. During the period, however, Mr Fipke also found some indicator minerals.
