Rico,
You certainly focused on exactly what is happening!!! The old Wall Street establishment is terrified by the independence of what they so contemptuously call "the herd"...With the online capability, online investor communication with each other, and much more streetwise investor/traders than those of yesteryear, today's investor does not need the old array of "customer's men" (brokers), or the old setup where an investor wouldn't know for hours what the effect of his "investment" was...When he did get the results, he had to take the broker's word that the best price had been reached on his behalf..Ha!!...People got fleeced regularly, in my opinion..Commissions were sky high, and brokers would churn accounts regularly....Investors have a much more level playing field today, and the WS establishment doesn't like it..Wall Street didn't get rich by treating investors fairly, in my opinion...The easy money for wall Street is going, going,.....I think they will pull every dirty trick in the book to stay in power...oppressive margins, misinformation from the wall Street media stooges, etc
