Jason, Thanks for locating that release. I could not find it via usual channels. I own the Pontis device after receiving it as a gift for Christmas. Hope that this is just the tip of the iceberg and that there have been discussions with OEM's selling to the US market as well. Pontis is a German company and you will not see their products on US shelves anytime in the foreseeable future. I have no idea of their presence in Europe. I would also like to see MMC storage going up in concert with SmartMedia so that it is not perceived as a low capacity product that is inferior to the "black tortilla". Another thing that I have noticed is the ability to place printed media on the surface of MMC. I received a relatively condensed "album" with my purchase that came in a box the size of a CD jewel box. (It actually looks just like a CD case.) The MMC card inside has the artist's photo and some text as well. Liner notes were included in the case. Thus, it seems that you can customize the MMC product label to fit your needs. I guess that may be possible with SmartMedia as well. Ausdauer (24 7/8)
