Director Buys 55K shares

(NewsTraders.com) -- Genesis Health Ventures Inc. (GHV) director Jack R. Anderson purchased 55,000 common shares during the month of December and now directly holds 200,000 shares, according to a Form 4 released Friday after market close by the SEC.

Anderson bought the shares at prices ranging from $7.38 to $8.25 per share between 12/9/98 and 12/23/98.
