Clinton's policies are liberal, not centrist. Welfare reform, IRS reform, balanced budget, and others were issues on which he sought to oppose the Republicans. When popular support for these issues and the Republican proposals proved to be too much for him to overcome, he came out with his counter proposals and used PR to attempt to coopt the issues. Education, retirement, entitlements, etc. are pure liberalism in the way in which he addresses issues. He creates more government programs in these areas in addition to the exiting failed programs which are left in their present state. Nothing succeeds like failure in government. Entitlements and regulation have grown much faster than him and Bush before him than since Carter, Nixon, and Johnson.

It's no wonder the federal budget is a mess when people as misinformed as yourself keep parrotting the centrist crap.
