With AMD "falling short" of earnings expectations with only $22 million in earnings, do you know what a $3,000,000 write-off will do to next quarter's earnings - and stock price?

This whole discussion of K7 wafers is baseless and pointless. Now you are throwing speculative financials on top of it. Get serious.

BTW: You may have noticed that the price of AMD dropped last week based on reduced earnings expectations. That may already be factored into the stock price.
