HI MALCOLM "Fire works Day",is certainly a very interesting way of putting it and as you say it could be the start of some very interesting events. As far as I can see,as I said before,I believe Jurick has already made the decision on the controlling interest offer by Oaktree, when he said that the offer was "unrealistically low". Could be that they had a private pow wow, and the offer by Oaktree has become a little more acceptable, and the creditors are anxious to bring this to a conclusion, and are pursuing same, and bringing matter up to presiding Judge.[so much for Fire Works] Bill had to have a good reason for saying this on the Hot Line. I'm still hearing rumors that some kind of announcement will be made prior to the annual meeting. As for patience tolerance,it has also tested mine, and whenever I think of getting out, I think of another stock I owned a long time ago called CLC of America, which had to deal with importing.I purchased it at 3 and 1/2 and held it for 4 years and when I gave up on it and sold it back for 3 and 1/4,and a few months later it started to move and went to 15. Now if I decide to hold,I either sink or swim. The one thing I do is put a limit on how many shares I will buy, because I have more than often witnessed what happens when someone tries to break the bank,or bites off more than they can chew. I have great confidence in Emerson, but I have been around long enough to know there is no such thing as a SURE THING. Good Luck to all=========TONY ROME========= |
