I believe that your are quite mistaken. Are oyu aware that investment managers regularly peruse these sites? They look for investor 'sentiment.' When the shorts come on board and post negative ideas, they have the tendency of scaring people off. If the shorts were really 'confident' with their investements, they would find no need to post on these boards or to defend themselves against the longs.
