WILMINGTON, Del., Jan. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Starnet Communications
International Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: SNMM) announces that its wholly owned
subsidiary Softec Systems Caribbean Inc.("Softec") has licensed its turn-key
Internet gaming technology to Elka Enterprises Inc.("Elka") and Servicios De
Computo Sudamericanos.
Elka's multilingual system will feature virtual casino games, sports
wagering with real-time odds fed from Las Vegas and Europe, and "Webcasting"
of international horse and dog racing,.
Elka ( ecashservices.com ) currently operates several on-line
casinos, and has an established e-cash service that processes secure on-line
transactions via the Internet. Elka intends to convert their existing gaming
software and clientele to their new Softec technology. Elka believes that the
Softec package is the best system available in today's market place and offers
the end user an all-inclusive gaming experience.
Servicios De Computo Sudamericanos currently operates the Internet casino
Majestic International Casino ( majesticcasino.com ) and will be
upgrading to the Softec system. The Company has been in existence for almost
two years and has a substantial and loyal client base.
Softec (www.softecsystems.com) is a wholly owned Starnet subsidiary based
in Antigua, which licenses Starnet's "turn-key" Internet gaming technologies
to independent operators in exchange for participation in its licensees'
revenues. Softec now has fourteen licensees.
