Vman, I suppose there is a LOT of pent up interest watching to see what the other people are thinking but they are watching to see what other people are thinking and when the results are out, then people will act! Some jumping before in anticipation. So the price is jumpy. Lots of shares ready to move.

During editing time, the price and volume are jumping...this is more like it...

Meanwhile, the silly ITU is trying to keep themselves in lunch, meetings, jamborees and business. The deadline wasn't so serious after all - what a surprise.

"...Early last month, an ITU announcement declared that CDMA-based proposals would be dismissed if Qualcomm and Ericsson
did not resolve their IPR dispute by Dec 31. However, because the Malaysia forum is a preparatory rather than a decision-making meeting, the participants are not bound by the Dec 31 deadline, a majority of the membership concluded, according to Leite."

PS: Tim, good idea - I'll have a hagfish party on the barbie. My corn is nearly mature - well, it's up to pollination stage, so I'll make do with red wine [cabernet sauvignon merlot all the rage down here]. Sherry for cold winter nights and ranting on the Web. I better just watch the news a bit though before I go...don't want to miss the jump to $80.

[Only 30 corn plants for fun - I'm not a corn farmer though would like to be - just as well I'm not though because the first crop all died - you need to plant when it isn't winter apparently. The second crop died apart from two plants - still cold and maybe bugs ate them. Third crop I put in little containers and 75% of them lived to be transplanted. And 80% of them are up to a horse's eye high. I'll stick to stocks for income!]
