Good article in the WSJ concerning Brazilian firms private debt and how it differs from Asia firms (last/this year)....Haven't read it all, but apparently Brazilian firms are in much better shape... (Also, Lack of currency arbitrage (lending) that you so aptly pointed out (the Asian were doing)..that ultimately was the "ball rolling in the wrong direction" for them)....
