Thread: Any reason to upgrade W95 OSR2 to W98 for a "fun"/multimedia/backup system?

I won't use Fat32 (on OSR 2 anyway) or multi-monitors on this system; mainly things like the tuner capabilties on my AIW Pro, DVD movies, perhaps a couple of games, that sort of thing.

I've heard that the intercast TV capabilities in w98 are bested by the AIW pro drivers, but have not seen that verified.

I have a copy of the retail upgrade of w98, so $ aren't this issue. OTOH, I have OSR2 all up and configured, so part of me's inclined to leave well enough alone.

I rarely use w95, relying on NT for all serious work, and 95 for dos-based utilties and speciality functions like the above.

All thoughts welcome.
