Rick,

I've been on following this thread every day since I picked up S3 about 9 months ago, and it still the second largest holding in my portfolio (was actually the biggest back in the glory days of 20+ trading), next to Intel. Believe me, I too have had my thoughts of jumping ship, but then I ask myself "have the fundamentals changed??" The answer is a resounding NO!! I think those of us who have followed S3 closely over the last year or so are all completely fed up with its lackluster performance... we've all thought of various manipulation on the part of the MM's... and there is good reason to believe, by the action on the charts someday, that some big players out there are trying to shake out all of the little guys. I think anyone who is currently thinking of dumping S3 at this point should take a good look at the discussion in "Investors Business Daily: Guide to the Markets" book on various chart patterns... one that they discuss is the long shake-out, with particular reference over a similarly long period with ANDW. I personally believe that the big fish are trying to weed out all of the little guys and that we will see S3 substantially higher by next christmas... I'm willing to wait another 12 months to see S3 at 25+. I saw the exact same thing happen with EMC last year... I lost patience after seeing it trade in the 16-20 range for about 8 months and finally sold out at 20 ... now its pushing 40. At that time, the discussion on the EMC group was remarkably similar to what I see on this thread now.

Good Luck,

Darin
