I just got a message from him wanting to go to a CAke concert. What's Cake? Should we let him? Cake is a band -- I have one of their CD's and I'm shocked to say it is completely devoid of references to illegal and/or nauseating sexual practices, snorting cocaine off naked groupie hips, killing law enforcement officers, the joys of slackerdom, and other similar paeans to a licentious and useless lifestyle that musicians these days are usually heir to. In fact, I would say they are rather cerebral. In short, boring. Only people with stratospheric IQ's tend to like them, which is why I have not played the CD in about a year and a half. A pretty safe bet.
