Not so fast! For a start, you are plagiarizing a rant I made maybe a year ago about the amygdala. Oh well, at least it means we agree on something. You even hijacked my holistic investment process which INCLUDES emotions. Most people say keep emotions out of investing.

In fact just the other day I referred to checking the dark cupboard - I think in the Globalstar thread. Related to price, wallet and therefore emotion, which has a direct hotline to the amygdala as you say.

Secondly, while this is all good fun, I'm pretty sure there was no fear involved in how I got in or out. I suppose on reflection there is an air of fear I have in that we are dealing with unknowns, which is always stimulating. But to call it fear is an exaggeration and I'm sure my Amygdala is not too busy.

I stopped listening? Please point out what I ignored. I thought I'd covered your points in almost excessive detail. Sometimes people project onto others [since we are playing psychology] their own concerns, failings and character. A bit like somebody the other day said hammers see the world in the shape of a nail. The world isn't nail shaped, but that's what the hammer is comfortable with.

So are you sure it wasn't YOU who stopped listening? For example, you have climbed into my brain, completely ignoring the things I wrote about the topic at hand. Not a single mention of them! You see what I mean? How is YOUR amygdala ticking along? Your response was all amygdala and no cdmaOne or even GSM. Not a mention of WLL, WWeb, IPR, or ESP.

Normally fear, threats and pain are well recorded to avoid the situation in future. But I can't actually think what traumatic negative evaluation you gave. No clues in your post. So I don't think I was too traumatized - or are you saying the threat was so horrible that I've gone blank with memory failure? Actually, I'm more busy enjoying Q! results than worried about Singtel which I think was the thing you say terrorized me. This is the hagfish thread, so I'll wade back upstream and check the past. If I see a ghost, I'll tell you.

Meanwhile, if you have something on the topic, I'm all ears and amygdala.

Maurice

PS: For example, maybe you have gone as blind as you think I'm deaf, but how about the question on chip rates? Tero has a particular blind spot to questions. Here is one of my posts. All good points with little adrenaline. Now listen up! SEE this question. What do you think of the chip rate issue? See the last line...in here:

Message 7344097

Did your amygala deafen and blind you to the point about WLL being okay in isolation on a rocky outcrop where soil strength is a LOT more than 0.5 Kg/m2? Your argument about Asia being a rice paddy with weak soil was shown to be totally wrong so you went for the amygdala.

Incidentally, I see you are one of those ghostly apparitions with no personal details showing. Now THAT is fear! Not even a name. Are you the bull or the bullfighter? Or some other aspect of bull?
