Yiwu Shang: OT Well you suggestion should work, but with ETrade that is not a wise thing to do. I have spent more than an hour trying to find out what happened to a limit order to short. I have on more than one occasion canceled a limit order to short that seemed to never fill. Then with no confirmation of either after thirty minutes, I have to call and wait until they track it down. One can't cover a short position you do not know you have. Maybe it is time to short ETrade...<g> Regards, LG
