Sold my LSI today - for something Bigger and better. For those who read my post yesterday (#16458), I wrote about a small software company that has exclusive patents on interactive TV and video to internet lacing. I said Liberty Media purchased a 10% stake with an option to buy more. Well Liberty Media is a part of TCI. If you saw the news today Athome is buying Excite. TCI owns most of Athome. Soon they are going to rollout digital TV/Internet service in the southwestern part of the US. ACTV (ticker IATV) is where my LSI money is going. I'm not spamming the board here either. If you look back the past year you'll see that I've owned LSI, now it's time to move on to something with the potential of the next internet. Cable will give you 30 to 50 times the speed you have now. Plus 98% of households own TV, only 40% own computers. E-commerce will be very big! Targeted advertising - with 500 channels or so advertiser will need interactive to get to their audience. It's not just a handful of channels like when we were kids. They have to go after the audience - interactive is the only way. actv.com
