bob, I'm just trying to bite my tongue anymore.

While I was waiting for a confirmation this morning from AMTD site, I literally made 2 round trip trades and one buy through my Brown account. In fact, I made 4 round trips and the one buy with brown today, and everyone went off with out a problem(the brown site was slow for about 20 minutes in the a.m. though)

Regardless, I figure tat I make from 20-40 trades per week, and just go on a $10 average, and find a medium there of $300/week just for trades with AMTD. Gone. That business of mine is now being given to a competitor. Now I might make 3 trades/week with AMTD. And that will soon be less than 3/month when I finish transferring money from them.

It's great. The commercials don't even make me violent anymore! As far as shorting them. I have done it 4 times since it took off from the 20s. I'd love to short them down to 0, but that would be foolish to try and too personal. So I just do it to scalp a few points. Only held overnight once(a weekend to boot). If you do short these, be careful. Surest way to cut your own throat is to short an internet stock because "it should fall".

Good luck.

p.s. Here at AMTD, we have been waiting for over a year for the supposed upgrades to affect us for the better, but alas, they are mre concerned with getting new customers signed up than holding on to the ones that consistantly fork over a paycheck per week.

If this policy doesn't change, it will soon enough show up in the stock price.
