john, do you think msft would report lower erning Qurter ove qurter? I doubt it. the reason it's got high pe is cuz the street expects msft to do progessively better. If msft was going to report lower<56, .71, .63, .64 => 2.54.> then they would have managed this qurter better so as to not come in so high. So I exect the next two qurters to be at least .71 or better. Stock in june 99 should be at 71-72pe as you have noted time and again that is when you begin feeling uncomfortable. so .56, 71, 71, 71 56+371=269 2.6971 = 190.99 oh and where did u get 71 i thought msft reported 73 and is now obligated to do better. i m not arguing about u selling. cuz no one knew how good the ernings would be and it's always wise to sell before erning if it's your trading positions.
