They are: Allou Health & Beauty Care Inc. (ALU), micro-cap distributor of beauty products; Digi International Inc. (DGII), data communications at a price-to-earnings ratio of 12; Genesis Health Ventures Inc. (GHV), geriatric care, at a P/E of 7; Golden State Bancorp Inc. (GSB); Input/Output Inc. (IO), seismic data for oil and gas, at a P/E of 9; Landry's Seafood Restaurants Inc. (LDRY) at a P/E of 7; LTV Corp. (LTV), steel; SIFCO Industries Inc. (SIF), jet engines, at a P/E of 8; Singer Co. (SEW), sewing machines; and Vicon Industries Inc. (VII), closed-circuit TV, at a P/E of 9.
