I don't speak French or Dutch either, but I can read enough to order a PC. Or call Dell's local number, and get a Flemish operator -- they will speak english. By the way, I went to the Belgian Dell site and tried to price the PC you described. I had the Dell site print the order for me (to a text file) and I've pasted it below. The key point is that you said the US price was $1,877. Well my invoice shows BEF67,600 with shipping (not the BEF75,300 you showed). That is US$1,938. The difference is $61 or about 3.2%. Given the high cost of Belgian labor that is a really small premium. I'm not denying that you couldn't build a machine cheaper on you own, but the ability to get drivers, bios fixes, etc. at a dell site is worth the little extra. If you buy a white box from a local merchant and then next year want to upgrade to Windows 2000, good luck if the bios, video driver, etc isn't compatible.
