As my posts have made clear, I am long uBid and support the company. BUT: I am quite disappointed with the companies failure to support its stock over the past two weeks, as well as ML's failure. Once the quiet period was over, I fully expected uBid to make announcements about the expansion of its product line, positive sales, etc. And so far, there was one truly insignificant release about its committment to customer service, which is akin to announcing that Francisco Franco is still dead.

The stock has fallen from a high of 189 to its current position in the 70-80 range. What has the company had to say about this? Nothing. In the absence of news, the momentum has died and the company.

I called Investor Relations yesterday to find out why uBid has had nothing to say, and got a message machine telling me to leave a message about what literature I wanted and someone would get back to me in a day. That's inexcusable. I am still long, but am also very disappointed at the company's nonresponsiveness and lack of shareholder support. It appears that they have a few lessons still to learn.
