In light of the Covad investment it appears that QWST is looking more closely at last-mile issues. perhaps that, combined with NXLK's bold move, will spur QWST to buy into WinStar or another player.

Could QWST buy NXLK? amazing to think of QWST owning that much capacity on the LVLT network!

btw: it's WinStar, not Teligent, who did the capacity swap with WMB.
