From Globe and Mail Market Movers Northern Telecom $84.75, down 3.15C Oops! The share price of Canada's leading high-tech company plunged because of a story in the NY Times yesterday that included NT as one of the 3 dozen companies highly exposed to risk in Latin America. But the table provided by a financial analyst was based on erroneous figures that overstated NT's sales in the region by more than 100%. Only 7% of the company's 1997 revenue came from sales in the region - not almost 15% as stated.
