I saw your message and did what a lot here should do more of - I contacted the company directly and asked: (416) 365-0811. Use it.

The discovery was made on or around December 1st, 1998, Someone from Band Ore was on the property to look at it within 2 days. Some of the photo's on the BAN web page were taken December 3rd. Apparently there is a black strip along the lower edge of the pictures that had the date on it which was removed as the type set was thought to be cluttered together with the assay info. which was added.

Evergreens are called evergreens for a reason. I can tell you that in Val d'Or it looked like it was going to be a green Christmas until a few days before Santa came, and across the north this was true as far as I know. I am sure James W. believes in Santa.

First significant snowfall in the area with the discovery was December 7th, 1998. Call Environment Canada, or James W. who seems to know everything else. The lake is most definitely frozen, either that or VP-Exploration can walk on water.

RE: insider trading, etc. I am not going the be the defender of the public good, check for yourself but, Midland may have sold some, also bought over 440,000 since December. Numbers do not exactly seem to add up to the stuff fortunes are made from but I am sure James W. will illuminate us on this. Every newsletter I read mentions activity is guaranteed to generate selling, the best strategy is then to do nothing? So they double in 3 trading days and we have some action. There is enough public domain info., including that routinely reported here, that if this were true then it will speak for itself. I would doubt this to the extreme, what would be the point of waiting all the way from $13 just to get to .50c?

The final comment, about being delisted was a little extreme. Please send me a list of companies with over $1,500,000 that have been delisted.

By all means, call the company for yourselves. If you want to sell, go ahead. There are no guarantees in mining exploration, risks are enormous, and so are the rewards. If you have been a Band Ore shareholder as long as you mention, then you should know both sides of the coin. If you bought in at .27c then I guess .80c looks great. If you bought it at $13 then maybe not. But the point to the exercise is to find a mine. We are at the property option stage and some initial work has been done. If you want to know if it is encouraging then take a good luck at the pictures. Some people like km-long targets in Argentina along disputed national boundaries - and some like real new discoveries in Canada. You decide.

Wayne did mention one other thing today, that drill contracts are out for tender.

I don't have a crystal ball, but I know when to bet.

Check for yourselves and this applies to the volume leaders in Vancouver as well as Toronto.
