MTRS an old fav. of this thread reported .79 vs. .73 (est). But # did not include convert shares of 5.4 to 8 M (variable) which would bring the true eps down to .62 to .55 which is well below estimates. Co's cost of funds also went up 70 basis points and it looks like the company under-reserved as reserves dropped from 8.3% to 7.4%. Return on equity dropped 22.5 to 32%.Street will figure out these shenanigans soon enoough. Joe Bob says short the pig with a first cover target of 40.
