Eddie - interesting article. ATI has done very well in the desktop space. Their mobile part has also been successful in the high end mobile market. I think it has displaced mainly TRID and SIII parts but in doing so it has prevented Neo from taking these sockets. Market share is market share, however, and both Neo's and ATI's have increased theirs in the last few quarters at the expense of all other players.

A very disturbing anomaly started yesterday on the Quote.com site which shows delayed trades crossing. I started seeing quite a number of 10k blocks going by all at the ask. I then noticed that these trades were not showing up in the daily volume number. Today this is continuing, probably 500k of trades have gone by, all in 10k blocks at the current ask and none of these have been counted in the volume.

Obviously, these trades are bogus and appear to be intended to give the impression that the stock is being accumulated by some big hands. If these are legit trades and the volume is being under reported, I think we would be seeing more upward pressure on the stock price.

If anyone has any clue about what is going on, please let me know. Meanwhile, I'm going to make a few calls. I smell some hanky-panky going on here.
