jhild, If you really want my take on this, it looks like someone did not like something (RS?) that was done previously. I mention the RS because it certainly did nothing to help this company from the perspectives of the shareholders.
I believe the CO-CEO will help to keep things in check.
As far as touting themselves as an internet play, NO COMPANY can afford to not be on the internet nowadays. It just offers too great a medium for communicating with Customers, Potential Customers, shareholders, potential shareholders, etc. It also helps to lower your cost of doing business.
I realize your intent here is to slam the company, but they did not put out a press release with the subject being their presence on the internet and it's associated hype, so your logic is skewed on that point. As far as not seeing a greater benefit from doing more on the internet, I guess you don't understand the medium as well as you think you do.
Well, I do understand the medium, and the benefits far outweigh the costs. Just on the billing side alone, doing business on the net saves a small fortune. The benefits from communicating better with customers and shareholders is immeasurable. This is, as always, just my opinion, an I do welcome dissenting viewpoints.
